Women were hard at work this week, tying the freshly pruned Red Hen Ranch vines onto the trellising.

Pruning is done during the dormant stage of the vines. The vines were cut back a month ago to about 2'. Now they are cutting them back to await the first growth of spring.
The last few days have begun with a little fog. By afternoon the sun has coming been out. Birds are singing and flower blossoms are beginning to appear. It is a great time to visit Laird Family Estate.
