Red Wines

2007 Laird Family Ghost Ranch Pinot Noir: Ripe strawberry jam aroma with hints of cherry, toasty cinnamon and vanilla spices. The concentrated fruit is the focus – the wine is warm, vibrant, and very satisfying. It pairs well with classic foods like grilled tuna and sautéed salmon; also enjoyable with a pork chop served over mushroom polenta.

2004 Laird Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2004 Laird Family Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is composed entirely from Laird vineyards in the Yountville AVA. State Lane Ranch is on the valley floor on the far east side of Yountville. Mast Ranch is in the gravely soil with fine drainage on the west  bench land, near the foot of the Mayacamas.

2005 Laird Family Jillian's Blend Red Wine: Deep garnet color followed by aromas of tobacco, violets and blackberry.  Bright fruit flavors of Satsuma plums and black cherry.  Medium bodied, with a nice integration of oak and berry fruit.

2002 Laird Family Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2002 Diamond Mountain is rich and soft, showing the effects of its over three years in the bottle.

2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: Bright ruby color; Aromas of ripe red fruit; integrated flavors of plums, licorice, and spice on th epalate; composed of Diamond Mountain and Yountville grapes; lingering finish.

2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2002 Laird Family Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of grapes harvested from two of Napa's prime regions, Yountville and Diamond Mountain.  The final blend is about 50% from each region. "Classic aromas of dry roses and violets, with a hint of cherry.  Round, full flavored and loaded with black fruit.   Oak is well integrated, bringing out flavors of tobacco, cedar and eucalyptus.  Lingering finish makes you want more."

2002 Suscol Ranch Merlot: Aromas of blueberry, juniper and exotic spices, with a hint of toasted oak. Ripe black cherry and plum flavors are complemented by good acidity. This is avoluptuos and unique wine. Serve with grilled chicken or steakhouse specialties.

2002 Napa Valley Merlot: Ripe fruit and rich, blackberry aromas, from the cool, Carneros climate, lend a full and supple character to this 100% Merlot.

2001 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: A stellar composition of vineyard selections from the Yountville, Rutherford and Diamond Mountain appellations, this 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon truly shines in the 2001 vintage. Drink with your favorite meal or lay it down to develop even longer.

2001 Suscol Ranch Merlot: Many tasting room visitors claim this is the best Merlot they have tasted in 2001 vintage. A unique microclimate produces complex aromas of herbs and black fruit with flavors of boysenberries, plums and cherries.

2001 Napa Valley Merlot: Cool Carneros weather gives this 100% Merlot it’s unexpected structure. Supple and ripe, with blueberry and plum fruit. Drinks like a Cabernet, great with grilled meat and fish.

2001 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon: At 1200 feet elevation this mountain fruit provides structure and terrific balance for this reserve level wine. Classic Cabernet flavors of black cherry and blackberry with hints of cocoa bean and dried plum.

2003 Dyer Ranch Syrah: In the rolling hills of northern Carneros grows our Syrah from an outstanding but temperamental vineyard. No wine produced in 2002, but in 2003 we harvested grapes with flavors of wild blueberries, sandalwood, purple plums and smoky meats.

2001 Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon: The Rutherford region in Napa is distinguished by its excellent Cabernets in which aromas of dusty rose complement blackberry, cedar cherry, current and dark chocolate.

2000 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon: Excellent for current drinking, the wine is juicy and full-flavored with earthier notes of cigar box - a warm and firm finish.

2001 Dyer Ranch Syrah: The 2001 Syrah begins with a dark purple color and an intense, fruit filled nose. There are notes of tar, gravel, graphite and raw, red fruits. Vanilla and white pepper are also evident.

2000 Carneros Merlot: This wine begins with an invitingly warm nose of black cherry, cinnamon, aged leather and brown earth...

2000 Suscol Ranch Merlot: This vineyard was THE favorite snack vineyard of resident blackbirds, crows and turkey vultures. Suscol Ranch produces Merlot in a European style with classic elegance and balance.

2000 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: The Laird Family Estate 2000 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet from two Napa vineyard sources. The Mast Ranch (56%) from the Oak Knoll District and the Morton Ranch (44%) in Rutherford are the contributing grape sources.

1999 Napa Valley Cabernet: What was for many generations a turkey farm, the Laird family took this very well fertilized plot and turned it into our River Ranch vineyard.

White Wines

2007 Laird Family Cold Creek Ranch Pinot Grigio: Citrus, creamy and mineral aromas enhanced by delicate lime blossoms. Subtle flavors of tangerine, green apple and stone fruit are complemented by stronger notes of grapefruit and creamy key lime.

2005 Laird Family Cold Creek Ranch Chardonnay: Floral and citrus aromas give way to spicy apple and tropical fruit flavors, which are well integrated with the nuances of oak aging.

2006 Laird Family Cold Creek Ranch Chardonnay: Ripe pear and green apple flavors with a hint of honeydew, mango and pineapple. The wine has a creamy, soft texture, and the taste of buttery toffee lingers on the palate.

2006 Laird Family Red Hen Ranch Chardonnay: Smooth, ripe and fleshy, with flavors of apple, pear, melon, and spice. The home ranch Chardonnay is rich and fruity, with a dusting of light toasty oak.

2006 Laird Family Carneros Chardonnay: Pleasant, inviting, toasty aromas; fruit flavors of apple, citrus and mango; a hint of spice leads to a lingering finish.  Pair with roasted chicken or salmon.

2004 Red Hen Ranch Chardonnay: "Smooth, ripe and fleshy, with a core of honeyed apple, pear, melon, and spice, finishing with a rich, fruity aftertaste and a shading of light toasty oak."   91 points

2002 Red Hen Ranch Chardonnay: This big, chewy, classically styled Chardonnay from an excellent vintage features apple and apricot aromas, and wonderful mineral flavors.

2003 Carneros Chardonnay: Aromas of vanilla with hints of honey, orange blossom, and passion fruit filling out the tasting profile.

2002 Cold Creek Ranch Chardonnay: Layers of apricot and citrus on the nose and palate highlight this complex wine due to perfect climate of Cold Creek  Ranch in Sonoma Carneros - thought to be Laird’s star white wine vineyard.

2004 Cold Creek Ranch Pinot Grigio: Our Cold Creek Ranch is located in Sonoma's Carneros district. The cooling breezes from the San Pablo Bay help define the nearly perfect growing conditions for both Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.

2002 Carneros Chardonnay: Blended with grapes grown in both Napa and Sonoma. Two-thirds came from Sonoma’s Cold Creek Ranch while one-third came from Napa’s Dyer Ranch.

2003 Cold Creek Ranch Pinot Grigio: There was a special spot for this wine when we decided to produce it: perfect for warm days or unbeatable with many foods, appetizers to shellfish to Asian inspired foods.

2001 Carneros Chardonnay: Winemaker Paul Hobbs has taken grapes from two different vineyards and selected three, quite distinct clones to produce this superb Chardonnay.
